In an unexpected twist, The Idea Factory was the recipient of the St. John’s Board of Trade Business Excellence Award. Joining the prestigious company of Provincial Aerospace and Johnson Inc, just to name a few, The Idea Factory became the first marketing firm to receive the accolade. Partners Kevin Casey and Ed Roche credit teammates and clients alike for dreaming big, taking chances, and challenging status quo day in day out. The Idea Factory also received the award for Contribution to Community Service, for launching The Toy Factory in 2008 in aid of the Single Parent Association of Newfoundland and Labrador.
