Your Competitor Has A Pencil and Eraser Also…
Maybe the reason it seems that price is all your customers care about is that you haven’t given them anything else to care about.
Ouch. Sound Familiar?

If our clients are to be believed, it’s our competitor who has markdown fever – not us. At Atlantic Business Magazine, our focus is on delivering award-winning content (i.e. compelling reasons to read) issue after issue after issue. Which is why our clients continue to advertise with us, issue after issue after issue. They know good value when they see it.
I think you guys are missing the point, most customer are not well to do and have to think about every cent they spend they just don’t have the money to go out and get what ever they want when they want it.Most of the consumers plan were there money is going because they have a family to worry about so after Xmas is over they start planing for the next one so they can budget it and its also the service they recieve thats why you see people going the same path every week for the best prices.
I’m not sure if that was the point of the statement. I suspect it’s more about thinking beyond just the price (as important as that is). It’s more about brand building and positioning yourself as better than the other guy overall and not just in price.
