MAX had created a new kind of class for young people looking to take their athletic training to the next level. They needed a name that would speak to the level of intensity that these classes would bring, as well as a launch video that would showcase everything these classes had to offer. It was time for us to bring our “A-game”!
We decided on the name “Surge” for the new training program. Surge brings to mind the kind of powerful boost that athletic skills training can bring you. When it came time to make a video to promote Surge, we took inspiration from other videos in the categories that we liked. Under Armour’s “I Will” campaign was all about mood, intensity, and music to pump you up. This is the kind of feeling we wanted to convey to Surge as well, and the finished video definitely makes us want to get up and go work out!
