Community Manager
The Idea Factory is looking for a person with drive, passion, and an unapologetic love of social media who can spot trends and be the voice of our clients online.
As a Community Manager, you will:
- Act as a culture hunter – identify social media trends and help our clients’ jump into the conversation across Facebook, TikTok, Twitter and Instagram
- Identify and follow influencers in our clients’ areas of focus
- Be the voice of our clients online
- Engage in fun banter with our clients’ followers and target audiences on marketing content
- Manage the monthly content calendar and schedule/post content
- Oversee surprise and delight moments with our community
- Help compile analytics reports on campaign performance, highlighting successes and identifying areas for improvement
- Work with the Idea Factory’s larger digital team to support the development of platform strategies and content plans/calendars
What you bring to the table.
- A genuine, honest and unapologetic love of social media.
- A love for internet culture and writing skills to participate in it.
- A rich understanding of how and why people use different social platforms.
- A belief that brands can be built on social and have the arguments to back it up.
- An interest in people, brands and voices on social and the ability to use this perspective to guide clients into behaving in culturally relevant, appropriate and differentiating ways.
- An ability to write, communicate and present with confidence
- A familiarity with tools such as Hootsuite, Planable, Canva, and Buffer for social media content planning.
